ABOUT
Enku Designs
With their elegant contemporary design and exquisite natural texture, each bangle is a one-off handmade collector’s piece. They look stunning as a stand alone item of jewellery or worn as an eclectic mix of multiples.

Our ethos is to be as sustainable as possible. Often the wood used to create these unique bangles is repurposed, or recycled . . .
Vintage walnut found buried in an abandoned Victorian walled kitchen garden, several hundred year old planks of oak washed up on a riverbank, bog oak from fallen trees thousands of years old, all add to the unique story and history of this beautiful jewellery.

There is an inherent connection to nature through their organic form, striking grain, and earthy colours, qualities appreciated by those who love beauty in nature's imperfections.

The name Enku, is derived from the inspirational tale of a C17th Japanese Buddhist priest, who travelled the country sculpting buddhist statues using reclaimed and recycled wood.
